Instrucción Explícita: Estrategias de Lectura en Línea

La investigación muestra que, junto con las estrategias tradicionales de comprensión lectora, los estudiantes usan estrategias únicas para leer la estructura no lineal e hipertextuada de los textos en línea. Al leer en línea, los estudiantes deben inferir qué hipervínculo puede ser relevante para leer, hacer conexiones dentro y entre textos vinculados e interpretar multimedia. Definir un objetivo y preguntas antes de leer, crear un mapa de información mientras se lee y limitar el número de enlaces a explorar son estrategias que ayudan a los estudiantes a navegar la lectura en Internet. Esto también puede ayudar a reducir la carga sobre la Memoria de Trabajo mientras se lee en línea y minimizar las distracciones al usar hipervínculos.
